About SG Support

I have worked for a hardware wholesaler in Sanjo City for 30 years, and since joining the company, I have been involved in new product development and sales channel development.

In 2009, the company decided to create a catalog with the theme of "Sanjo's hand tools," and visited various manufacturers in Sanjo City to request the supply of products.

One of the manufacturers was a factory that manufactured thread-cutting scissors using traditional methods, and when I visited, I was able to observe the process.

Each process is skillfully performed by craftsmen with many years of experience, and I learned that there is no easy process.

At the time, we were unable to achieve the sales results we had hoped for due to the effects of the global recession, but in recent years, Tsubame-Sanjo cutlery has come to be evaluated alongside those in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture and Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, and demand for Sanjo products is increasing.

Even now, when advances in production technology have made it possible to produce low-cost, high-quality products, tools made using traditional methods have not lost their original luster.

We established SG Support in January 2021 with the desire to be of service to Sanjo manufacturers through product planning and sales channel development.

Although our contributions may be small, we will do our utmost to convey the merits of Sanjo products to users.
